Featured Information

The Local Hazard Mitigation Planning team is a consortium of representatives from each city in Santa Clara County and selected County Departments. It has been brought together to discuss the types of risks/hazards that we as a county could likely face at some point, such as fire, earthquake or weather related events, as well as to discuss mitigation strategies to better prepare and recover from these types of incidents.

As part of the planning process, a survey has been prepared to invite input from the public and county employees to gauge preparedness and identify what types of risks/hazards are of most concern.

Please take the time to complete a short survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2010SCCHMP
